How to move Google Authenticator tokens to a new phone

Google Authenticator now has a feature to transfer your TOTP tokens to a new phone. Here's how you do it.

Step 1:Download Google Authenticator on your new phone.

Step 2:Open Google Authenticator on your new phone, tap Get Started then tap on Import existing accounts. 

Step 3:On your old phone, open Google Authenticator, tap the three dots then tap on Transfer accounts.

Step 4:Tap on Export accounts then choose the accounts you want to move to your new phone.

Step 6:On your new phone, tap on Scan QR code then place the QR code within the red lines.

Step 7:Once done, your Google Authenticator tokens will be moved to your new phone.
